Eyeclinic Ringkobing is a private clinic, providing expertise in clinical care. Our main focus is the treatment and care of patients with a wide range of eye problems, from common complaints to rare conditions. We treat patients of all ages, including infants and children. Consultant ophthalmologist, M.D., Jens Henrik Pedersen is in charge of the clinic. We treat people througt the Danish public health insurance which enables us to provide treatment to most danish citizens free of charge. Foreign European Union (EU) patients who show a blue EU health insurance card are also providet treatment free of charge. Other International patients are required to make a payment at the end of their visit. Patients can make their own appointments without a physician's referral. A physician referral though is required in an emergency. European Union Citizens Bring your blue EU health insurance card and we will provide treatment free of charge. Acute cases If you need an acute appointment we must receive a referral from a general practitioner or other physisian who will contact us and make an appointment for you. If you want to cancel or change your appointment time, please contact us by telephone on +45 9732 0055. This service is available 8am - 10.am, Monday through Friday. Eye check - When ? Regular eye checks should provide the basis for maintaining proper eye health, as some of the serious eye conditions do not have any visible early warning symptoms. However, while prevention is the best defence, problems or injuries can occur suddenly and unexpectedly. Recognising signs and symptoms and also knowing what to do could be crucial to preserving sight. Any patient who is worried or unsure about his or her individual circumstances should seek specialist advice. If you experience sudden pain, loss of sight, or lots of flashing lights, please see your doctor or local accident and emergency department as soon as possible. Eye conditions can be incredibly complex and without your eyes being examined by an expert, it is difficult to provide relevant information. Email can be used to cancel planned appointments. Payment The eyeclinic accepts cash. We do not accept international pay-cards.
